Philippa Morgan, Partner with Lyons Davidson’s Family Law department, has won Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in Bristol Law Society’s 2013 Awards.
She was nominated alongside Tom Woodhams of the University of Law and Sarah Green of TLT.
Philippa joined Lyons Davidson in 1998 and deals with international child abduction matters. She is one of only a few specialists in the country instructed by the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit to deal with Hague Convention and Brussels II matters.
The winners were announced at Bristol Law Society’s Annual Awards Dinner at the Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel on 10 October.
Ashley Palminteri, President of Bristol Law Society, said: “Congratulations to each of the winners […] the standard of the entries was very high and the winners were rightly applauded in front of 360 of their peers and colleagues.”
