Lyons Davidson’s Head Injury department recently secured a settlement of £1.78 million for a client.
Head-on collision
The client sustained a serious head injury when the vehicle in which she was a passenger was involved in a head-on collision. As a result of her injuries, the claimant was unable to return to her pre-accident role and required ongoing assistance from a Support Worker. The matter was settled on the basis of a lump sum of £802,000 plus periodical payments of £32,500 per annum for the rest of the claimant’s life.
